The Albariño grapes that make up Abadía de San Campio 2022 were selected from vineyards located in Goián and harvested on the 12th and 13th of September. These grapes were harvested after a spring of low rainfall and an extremely hot and dry summer. Fortunately, the light rains at the beginning of September provided an excellent ripening of the grapes. All in all, a surprisingly ripe Albariño that was transformed into a wine of intense aroma, powerful mouthfeel and great freshness. E82wine

This wine is inspired by the elegance and refreshing beauty of Lake Lure. A blend of 55% Gruner Veltliner, 35% Vidal Blanc and 10% Chardonnay, this wine exudes melon and lemongrass on the palate. Its minerality is tamed slightly by some neutral oak barrel storage. Enjoy on a boat, on a dock, or wherever you like to sip a crisp refreshing white wine.

James Suckling-Mendoza, Argentina. From the Catena Family – “Lots of blue fruit with chocolate, walnut and some hazelnut character. It’s medium-bodied with round tannins that are polished and reserved. Very fine tannins…”
